Pronto On the Go

At Pronto of Long Island, our mission has always been clear: to help individuals and families move out of poverty and into stability. Today, we’re excited to share an important new step forward in that mission.

We are proud to announce the launch of Pronto on the Go - a mobile outreach initiative designed to bring food, essential resources, and support services directly into the communities we serve.

For many families, barriers such as transportation, work schedules, or childcare can make accessing support difficult. Pronto on the Go removes those obstacles by meeting people where they are - at community hubs, neighborhoods, and partner sites across Long Island.

Through this initiative, Pronto will:

Expand access to food and essential resources

Strengthen connections to job readiness and workforce support

Reach individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to visit our site

This launch is made possible through the continued support of our donors, partners, and volunteers. As we begin this exciting new chapter, we invite you to be part of its success - whether by spreading the word, volunteering, or supporting a future Pronto on the Go stop.

As a trusted community hub, Pronto of Long Island now serves over 100,000 individuals and families every year- a number that continues to grow as more Long Islanders turn to us for support. From our bustling food pantry and clothing boutique to educational programming and emergency assistance, Pronto is a place where hope is restored and lives are transformed.

This event is more than just a day on the green- it’s a powerful opportunity to rally together and ensure our neighbors have access to the essentials they need to thrive. Every swing, sponsorship, and show of support helps us meet the rising demand for services and continue delivering compassion, dignity, and tangible solutions to our community.
