Serving People in Need With Basic Human Services Since 1969
Pronto Long Island, Inc. began serving the needy in the basement of St. Anne’s Church in Brentwood over 55 years ago. While Pronto Long Island, Inc.’s origin is faith-based, we are a non-denominational non-profit 501C3 that serves anyone in need of basic human services.
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in." Matthew 25:35
Over the years, we moved to a storefront in a shopping mall in Brentwood before settling into the little white house in Bay Shore. In 2005, we built our new ten thousand-square-foot facility on Pine Aire Drive in Bay Shore.
No matter what location, Pronto Long Island, Inc. has stayed true to our mission of helping people in need with dignity and respect.
Pronto Long Island, Inc.'s mission is:
