Additional Services

We offer an immunization program called Shots for Tots. This program is provided for children up  to 18  years old who do not have health insurance coverage. Children are seen on a first come first serve basis. 

We also offer Pfizer/Moderna Covid Vaccines for ages 6 months and up as well as boosters.  Vaccines are administered by Suffolk County Department of Health nurses.

Thrift Center

Food Pantry

Pronto of Long Island provides food to families in need. The majority of the food is provided by donations from Community Partners, Food Drives and the private sector.


Food Pantry hours are Monday through Friday: 9am - 2pm, Sat: 9am-12pm, Sun: Closed. We are always accepting donations to our Food Pantry. We receive all food donations at our side entrance warehouse area. For more info: 631-231-8290.

Warehouse 

Pronto of Long Island's Thrift Center offers our most vulnerable families the opportunity to shop for donated gently used clothing and shoes after receiving a voucher through our intake department. The Thrift Center is also open to the general public with suggested donation pricing during regular business hours. Your donations to our Thrift Center are greatly appreciated. Donations are received at the side entrance area during regular business hours. After hours your donations can be left in the clothing bins to the rear of the building.

Our Warehouse offers gently used household items to our neediest families who receive a voucher through our intake department. Our warehouse is also open to the general public with suggested donation pricing during regular business hours.


​​We are constantly receiving and picking up new items so our warehouse is always filled with great finds. 

​Through our intake department, we assess the needs of our clients so that together we can create an action plan of care.  We offer emergency food, clothing and gently used household goods as well as educational programs, services, advocacy and support. Our purpose is to help our clients improve the quality of their lives and we do this always with dignity and respect. We offer our clients emergency services quickly and that's why we call ourselves... Pronto!
